Hiking in Switzerland | Bisse de Tsittoret via Cry d'Er | Crans-Montana Canton Valais | 2022 (4K)

Breathtaking hike on the panoramic trail high above Crans-Montana and the Rhone valley in the canton valais. During the entire hike we had a magnificent view on the highest peaks of the Swiss mountains, including the famous Matterhorn. In the well-known village of Crans-Montana we took the gondola from Montana to Arnouva and the chairlift to the Cry d'Er mountain station. There we started our hike and followed the panoramic trail to the Cabane des Violettes. From the plattfrom of the cabane we enjoyed the breathtaking panorama. We continued our hike towards Mont Bonvin. The terrain got more demanding as we continued to climb up the mountain flank of the Tubang mountain. At one point we had to cross a ravine with a very steep bank. Soon we reached the Petit Mont Bonvin rest area and continued our hike alongside the Mont Bonvin mountain towards the canyon of the Tièche stream. At one point the stream turns into a fantastic waterfall over a high cliff. We followed the Tièche stream downwards and soon reached the point where an ancient irrigation channel diverts from the river: the Bisse de Tsittoret. We continued our hike along the Bisse de Tsittoret through magnificent yellow and golden larch forests. After a very relaxing hike alongside the Bisse de Tsittoret we reached the houses of Colombire where we took the bus back to Crans-Montana. Tour itinerary Our hike starts at the Cry d'Er mountain station (2255m) and follows the panoramic high mountain trail to the Cabane des Violettes (2209m) and further to Petit Mont Bonvin Rest Area (2386m). We then continue towards the canyon of the Tièche stream and the waterfall (2150m) and further to beginning of the Bisse de Tsittoret (1920m). We follow the Bisse de Tsittoret until we reach the houses of Colombire (1794m) where our hike ends.
