Prof Indépendant ou Prof en École de Musique : Deux Métiers qui n’ont Rien à Voir.

In this video, I talk about a topic that many people misunderstand: the difference between a "freelance guitar teacher" and a "teacher at a music school." They don't have the same constraints, the same freedoms, the same risks, or the same way of working. A freelance teacher doesn't just sell guitar lessons. They develop a method, a framework, a relationship with their students, and a teaching style that reflects their own personality. I'm not criticizing music schools. They have their place and can suit many teachers and students. But when comparing rates, lesson lengths, or the services offered, you have to compare apples to apples. In this video, I share my perspective as a freelance teacher, including the advantages, responsibilities, expenses, social security contributions, slow periods, but also this one thing I wouldn't change for the world: "the freedom to build a career that reflects who I am."
