This set isn’t just about track selection, it’s about touch, control, and real-time decisions. I approached the PlayDifferently Model 1 not as a mixer, but as an instrument. Every movement, every EQ carve, filter sweep, and send return—was part of an improvised conversation between myself and the music. The Model 1 invites that kind of dialogue. It has been my go-to mixer in the studio, and occasionally, live on stage, since 2019. It lets me sculpt the mix like clay, not just play it. It’s hands-on. Intuitive. Alive. And that’s the space I love to be in when I’m performing: fully present, shaping the energy in real time, letting instinct lead the way. This set is rooted in my love for Techno, the kind that builds, breathes, and drives forward without ever losing focus. It’s deep, physical, and purposeful. My goal was to let the mixer amplify the emotion and intensity of the music—not get in the way, but become part of the expression.
