Wandern durch die Ravennaschlucht – Schwarzwald-Rundtour mit überraschenden Highlights

Join us today for a circular hike through the Ravenna Gorge and along both sides of the Höllental (Hell Valley) in the Black Forest. Right at the start, the Ravenna Viaduct (railway bridge) awaits us as the first highlight, closely followed by the Ravenna Gorge itself. We continue along the ridge on a section of the Querweg (Freiburg-Lake Constance) trail, enjoying stunning views, including one of the snow-capped Feldberg summit. From there, we descend into the Höllental to the B 31 highway, pass under it, and then climb steeply uphill on the other side past the Noppelfelsen (Noppel Rock). The descent on this side of the Höllental offered beautiful views of the Ravenna Viaduct. A final highlight was the Chapel of St. Oswald, the oldest parish church in the Black Forest.
