DIY Folding Hitch Bike Rack

In this video we show how to build your own folding, hitch mounted bike rack to carry up to two bikes. I built this rack out of an existing cargo carrier and two Yakima Raptor racks. It enables you to carry bikes using the 2” hitch receiver on your vehicle. The bikes can be mounted/carried without needing to remove the front wheel and the bike rack folds up when not in use. This is a great alternative to spending $500+ on a commercial-off-the-shelf bike rake (the total project cost me approximately $45 and 11 hours of labor).
