We're sharing the story of this wonderful castle, which we visited a few months ago. Mombeltrán Castle, also known as the Castle of the Dukes of Albuquerque, is located in the town of Mombeltrán in the province of Ávila, about an hour from Ávila and two hours from Madrid. The castle is in excellent condition and has undergone minimal restoration. It is privately owned and can be visited via guided tour.
