Bavarian Pork Knuckle / Schweinshaxe - Tony's Comfort Kitchen

This Bavarian pork knuckle or Schweinshaxe is absolutely delicious. German comfort food at its best. I'm adding this dish as part of a collaboration about American Thanksgiving celebrated around the world. I'm not sure the Germans eat this for Thanksgiving, but they do eat them by the thousands at the Oktoberfest in Munich every year, and that's not too far off Thanksgiving 😊 As far as I can see it is one of the quintessential German dishes.
