Anangu Tjutaku Indigenous Protected Area

Journey to Anangu Tjutaku Indigenous Protected Area, the third largest IPA in Australia spanning a massive 9.7 million hectares. In the heart of the Great Victoria Desert, this new IPA in Western Australia protects a landscape of great cultural significance and ecological importance. The land management work of the Indigenous Rangers team - the Spinifex Rangers - is critical here. Film by Sam Frederick Executive Producer: Country Needs People. Our thanks to Pila Nguru, the Spinifex Rangers, the Tjuntjuntjara community and the Spinifex, Pilki and Untiri Pulka Traditional Owners.
