Supervisan vagones del Tren Buenavista-Pachuca
With the goal of strengthening the revival of passenger rail transport in Mexico, the Mexican government, through the Agency for Trains and Integrated Public Transportation, continues to finalize the details of the new train that will serve the Buenavista–Pachuca route. As part of this phase, authorities and specialists conducted a comprehensive review of the full-scale model of the train to ensure that every element of the design meets the highest standards of comfort, accessibility, safety, and functionality before mass production begins. During the inspection, the Director General of the Agency for Trains and Integrated Public Transportation, Andrés Lajous Loaeza, personally evaluated various aspects of the train's interior and exterior design. The review included the ergonomics of the driver's cab, the layout of passenger spaces, the quality of the finishes, the design of the seats, the location and strength of the handrails, the capacity of the luggage racks, the spaces designated for bags and bicycles, as well as the areas reserved for people with disabilities and reduced mobility, with the aim of ensuring an inclusive and comfortable service for all users. The new train has been designed according to modern rail mobility standards. Each train will be 102 meters long and have a capacity to carry up to 893 passengers per trip, offering a safe, efficient, and comfortable journey. It will also be equipped with high-definition video surveillance cameras, digital screens with real-time information, a public address system for passenger guidance, efficient lighting, climate control, and other technological features that will contribute to improving the travel experience.
