BOAT HOW - Wainwright's Outlying Fells explored by an Old Timer!
If you find my videos helpful please consider a small donation to help towards the costs https://buymeacoffee.com/oldcodger Join me as I attempt to finish Wainwright’s Outlying Fells some 40 years after finishing the 214 main summits. Wainwright did say the Outlying Fells were for ‘old-timers’ so I guess I now qualify! On today’s walk I tackle Boat How a small fell that you get to from the village of Boot in Eskdale. Most of the route is on good paths but there is one section across pathless moor full of tussock grass and bog which I didn't enjoy at all and which spoilt the day for me. In the video I suggest that you do the route the opposite way and try to avoid the pathless section.
