The shortest route from Ambarawa to Telomoyo is via Pagergedog, Sepakung, and Banyubiru. After reaching the summit of Telomoyo via Dalangan yesterday, in this video, we'll go via Ambarawa. Since the shortest route to Telomoyo from Semarang is via Ambarawa, we made this video. We wanted to test the road as well. The road is indeed steeper, but it's not really a steep climb, but the problem is that the road climbs after sharp turns (every turn is followed by an incline). I think automatic motorcycles are safe for going up. But if you're going down this route, you MUST let the brakes cool down. Stop and flush the brakes at least every 10 minutes. Or, if you're an expert, you can actually brake using just the front brake (if the front starts to slacken, stop with the rear brake) or vice versa, use just the rear brake (if the rear starts to slacken, stop with the front brake). Or, if you're braking, alternate between front and back, and release the brakes; don't brake continuously. Also, don't brake simultaneously, front and back continuously, as you'll risk losing control of the front and back, causing a breakdown. This trip starts from the Ambarawa Railway Museum, heading towards Banyubiru. Then, follow Google Maps (not via the map). Once you reach the Pagergedog entrance post, pay the IDR 15,000 fee per person, and then get on. You'll find a T-junction (the intersection between Pagergedog, Dalangan, and Puncak Telomoyo).
