This trip began by train from Bekasi to Solo. After arriving in Solo, I continued my journey by motorcycle to Mount Telomoyo, one of Central Java's favorite destinations, accessible by vehicle all the way to the summit. Even though I arrived a little later than planned and fog was beginning to obscure the view, the morning atmosphere at Telomoyo was still extraordinary. The winding mountain road, cool air, expanses of clouds, and mountain views marked the beginning of the journey around the base of Mount Merbabu.
