10 jaar lava in Bart zijn zwemvijver... dit was het resultaat

Bart has had a large swimming pond for 10 years with a filter system that cost thousands of euros. Yet, the pond has actually never been truly clear. Brown sludge in the water, a foul smell coming from the plant filter, and plants that are still just a few blades of grass after a few seasons. Sound familiar? Simon pays a visit and immediately discovers the problem: lava. In the first season, things seem to be going well, but the roots cannot take hold in the lava. They become weaker and weaker, start to rot, and after one or two growing seasons, the plants die completely. Brown roots, a foul smell, and a filter that isn't doing its job. Bart wants to tackle this properly now. Simon draws up a complete planting plan, supplies the right pond substrate and all the plants, and drives with them to Belgium. Together with family and friends, Bart gets to work: shoveling out the lava, putting in the substrate, and placing all the plants in the right spots under the guidance of Simon, who explains everything step by step. And yes, another really good idea in this video comes from Bart's wife: keeping beers cold in crates in the pond. 🍺 Simon used up everything for Bart in crates because of the size of the pond.
