As a high school student, she represented Nara Prefecture in golf at the Kochi National Athletic Meet. After discovering breakdancing at vocational school, she studied dance in New York and began classical ballet at age 21. At age 26, she became the first Japanese person to appear as a female ballet dancer and guest dancer in the Japanese Embassy in Germany fashion show. At age 27, she appeared as a guest dancer at the Fukuoka Asia Collection. In 2016, she developed a unique exercise method that combines her past exercise experience with elements of Western medical rehabilitation. Founded the Reha Pilates Association with an occupational therapist. As founder, I hold study sessions nationwide to promote the importance of exercise to a wide range of audiences, from doctors and healthcare professionals to the general public. Currently, I run a stretching specialty store in Osaka. ▪️ Injuries and Illness At age 15, I suffered a severe ligament tear and surgery. Afterward, I didn't receive rehabilitation to recover, which caused my leg to become distorted. By my mid-20s, I had suffered nearly 10 avulsion fractures and severe sprains. While trying to avoid pain, I also developed back pain, which temporarily made it difficult for me to walk. ▪️ Mental Illness Age 20: I developed psychogenic dysphonia due to stress at work. She lost her voice in a stressful environment and quit her job. After visiting over 10 clinics without any improvement, she decided to treat herself. She studied the human body from various perspectives, including Eastern and Western medicine, yoga, Pilates, and mindfulness, and overcame all injuries and illnesses after 10 years of illness. She is currently uploading stretching videos on YouTube to share the importance of health with people around the world based on her own experiences.
