Tokyo to Sapporo - Episode 2 "The Journey"
After the Hayabusa train left Tokyo station towards Hakodate, I unfortunately was sitting next to another person, so it was not as comfortable. The seats are reserved, so even though there were empty seats close by, I could not just sit there because the upcoming station stops could have passengers complaining that I am in their seat. The train slows down as it nears a city stop and rarely tops 200 mph but averages 170 mph or slower. I was worried about the next train transfer in Hakodate since there was only a 10-minute window. Remember what I described in episode 1 about inserting all 3 tickets (1st time I inserted one, 2nd time I inserted two, 3rd time I asked for help). It happened on my transfer since I had no idea about this secret procedure and so I almost missed the 2nd train after I was running to catch it.
