Vivere in campagna in una villa moderna con B&B - Archiplan Studio

CASA ID designed by the Archiplan Studio architecture firm, is located in the beautiful countryside of Guastalla, Reggio Emilia. The project consisted of recovering an old farmhouse and transforming it into half a residence and half a B&B. The building is spread over two floors, on the ground floor, the living area works on a double-height space in which agricultural vehicles were once parked. The studio's choice was not to divide the space through physical elements but the furnishing elements defined and punctuate the ritual hierarchies of the domestic space. The elements used, such as the raw wood for the study, the oak wood for the table and the kitchen cabinet, the cement for the floor and the plaster recovered from the old barn, create welcoming and comfortable environments thanks to the choice of these simple materials which they maintain warm and soft tones. The house is connected to the B&B through an internal corridor which then overlooks the old door which has been recovered and which becomes the access threshold to the rooms located on the first and second floors. The state in which the old staircase was located has been maintained while the rooms have all been modernized. These rooms have a warm decor and have a very spiritual, simple area and try to represent the culture of this land through their own taking shape.
