La casa di un architetto affacciata sulle colline Torinesi - FL Architetti
Casa Y - FL Architetti Casa Y, nestled in the hills of Turin, represents a perfect balance between tradition and modernity, inspired by the Piedmontese farmhouse. The "Y" plan divides the living area, oriented south towards the landscape, and the sleeping area, a 30-meter long volume distributed horizontally. This arrangement not only enhances the hillside, integrating the building into the terrain to minimize environmental impact, but also creates a profound relationship between interior and exterior. The house, with large glass walls and Corten steel sunshades, uses natural light dynamically, filtering summer rays and welcoming winter light. The interior design uses natural and recovered materials, such as the wood of the concrete formwork for furnishing elements such as the fireplace, the dining table and the doors, which combine with exposed reinforced concrete walls. The contrast between the smooth concrete of the ceiling and the material textures of the walls creates a refined environment, where every detail is designed to reflect and amplify the colors of the surrounding landscape. The wooden flooring and modern furniture blend in a timeless style, while the absence of skirting boards and the integration of the handles with the walls emphasize a clean and minimalist aesthetic. The house is characterized by spaces that constantly interact with the outside. Large glass walls transform the rooms into living frames, offering spectacular views that change with the seasons. Strategically positioned windows create unique lighting effects, such as shadow designs on the walls and contrasts between the lit fireplace and the snowy landscape. The rooms are distributed along a corridor illuminated by a skylight that runs the entire length of the house, connecting the three bedrooms, each with a private bathroom and access to the outside view. The house also includes a biological pool with a natural lava stone filtration system, designed to guarantee sustainability and efficiency. This ecological approach is reflected in the entire project, which offers an exceptional quality of life thanks to radiant floors, mechanized ventilation and materials that create ideal thermal comfort in every season. Casa Y embodies an architecture rooted in the territory, combining functionality, design and respect for nature in a harmonious union.
