Daniela Perani is Professor of Neuroscience, Director of both the Graduate School of Neuropsychology and the Doctoral Program in Cognitive Neuroscience at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in Milan, as well as Coordinator for Diagnostic Neuroimaging at the Nuclear Medicine Unit of the I.R.C.C.S. San Raffaele Hospital and Head of the Research Group in the Neuroscience Division at the San Raffaele Scientific Institute. She coordinates several national and international research projects in Neurology and Neuroscience. Her research focuses on in vivo neuroimaging studies of neurological diseases, particularly neurodegenerative dementias, applying imaging biomarkers for early and differential diagnosis and risk of progression, and cognitive neuroscience.
