CK3 Hardest Difficulty 1066 Komnenos 2: German Pretenders

Second episode starting as Alexios Komnenos in the Byzantine Empire in 1178 and playing Crusader Kings 3 using the most challenging ruleset, including "very hard" difficulty, frequent scourge-of-the-gods conquerors with all heirs inheriting, doomsday plagues with unlimited random Black Deaths, and minus three domain limit for the player only. Alexios has taken the Byzantine throne at the young age of 19. A skilled steward, he seeks to improve the Empire's economy and constructs many buildings in his domain. But will Alexios be satisfied by purely internal improvements, or will he look outside his borders for more land? What will Alexios do when faced with an unholy alliance between Hungary and the German pretenders to Rome? And what of the powerful scourge conquerors that lurk just beyond the borders of his lands?
