We tackled the longest paved loop trail in the nation -- the Raccoon River Valley Trail in Iowa — and it delivered everything we hoped for... and a few things we didn't see coming. Starting in Waukee beneath the stunning "In the Shadow of the Rails" pergola, we rode counter-clockwise through the heart of Iowa, town-hopping through charming small communities, soaking up wildflower meadows, and shady trail canopies.
