Polyarteritis Nodosa (PAN) | Signs & Symptoms, Diagnosis, Treatment
What is Polyarteritis Nodosa (PAN)? PAN is a vasculitis condition involving medium-sized vessels that leads to systemic symptoms involving a variety of organs and organ systems. These symptoms include constitutional symptoms, muscle aches and pains along with cutaneous manifestations and other neurological symptoms. The diagnosis of PAN can be made when a certain number of criteria are met. Once diagnosis has been made, treatment involves using steroids and other medications as well.
