Vice President Gibran Rakabuming inspected the construction progress of the Probolinggo–Situbondo–Banyuwangi (Prosiwangi) Toll Road, Gending–Besuki section, East Java, on Friday (July 10, 2026). Through this inspection, the Vice President ensured that strategic infrastructure development continues on target so that its benefits can be immediately felt by the public. The Prosiwangi Toll Road will complete the toll road network connecting Jakarta to Banyuwangi, the main gateway to Bali. In addition to reducing travel time from Probolinggo to Banyuwangi from approximately five hours to three hours, this toll road will also streamline logistics flows, reduce distribution costs, reduce congestion on national routes, and encourage growth in industrial areas.
