DYA717 Japan H_I_S Tohoku Food & Flowers May 21, 2026 [Mori no Kaze Oushuku, Koiwai Farm, Oirase Stream, Oirase Onsen Ski Resort, ReLabo Medical Spa & Stay, Nebuta No Kuni Takakyu] Day 8 – 7:00 a.m. breakfast at the Mori no Kaze Oushuku. Google said today will be 52-60 and light showers. First stop this morning was the garden at our hotel. Then on to a souvenir store because of the rain. Then on to Koiwai Farm. We had a guide board our bus, drove around their farm with the guide explaining the different operations. Then lunch on the farm. Then on to Lake Towada. Too bad it was drizzling today. Then down the Oirase Gorge. We made a stop and some of the group walked down along the riverside for about 5 minutes. A quick stop at Oirase Ski Resort. Then a long ride to Aomori City. We got there around 6:00 p.m., checked in at the ReLabo Medical Spa & Stay (hotel) and rushed on the bus to go to Nebuta No Kuni Takakyu Restaurant for dinner. Great place. Our group had all you can drink. Then some entertainment by a Shamisen player. His music is playing in the background of this YouTube video.
