271 - Blackpool Transport Training Buses

Over the past number of years, Blackpool Transport has operated a number of driver training buses culminating in today's fleet of three buses: 974 BJ15UVW Mercedes-Benz Citaro 2 Euro VI 977 BF60UVL Volvo B7RLE/Plaxton Centro 978 BF60UVM Volvo B7RLE/Plaxton Centro Before that, it had run three Dennis Tridents: 973 PJ02PYG Dennis Trident 2/East Lancs 974 PJ02PYH Dennis Trident 2/East Lancs 975 PO51UMJ Denis Trident 1/East Lancs Prior to these, it ran a couple of Optare Deltas and an East Lancs bodied Volvo single decker: 969 K129UFV Optare Delta 970 K130UFV Optare Delta 971 W471MKU Volvo B10BLE/East Lancs We also feature the two East Lancs bodied Leyland Atlantean AN68/2Rs with there upper decks panelled out: 922 URN322V Leyland Atlantean AN68/2R/East Lancs 923 URN 323V Leyland Atlantean AN68/2R/East Lancs Prior to these, a variety of Leyland PD3 and PD3A Titans with MCW Orion bodywork had been operated.
