After our Japan tour between Tokyo and Kyoto, our Japan trip continues "on the rail" in search of the best spots to photograph Mount Fuji with the Momiji—or foliage. We started in Hiroshima and its stunning island of Miyajima, with its temple suspended in the water. We then took the shinkansen to Hakone, where we relaxed in an onsen before visiting Lake Ashi, with one of the most beautiful views in Japan. But the real spectacle of red leaves arrived in Fujikawaguchi, where we went to Sengen Park for a view of Mount Fuji along with the Chureito Pagoda, and then strolled along the shores of Kawaguchiko: Lake Kawaguchi.
