Этот тренд использования старых футболок уже покорил азиаток. Супер полезная идея
An old T-shirt is a great item to repurpose around the house. Your favorite shirt has lost its good looks. The color has faded in the sun, the fabric has stretched out, and stains have appeared that just won’t come out. You don’t want to wear it anymore, but it feels wasteful to throw it away. An old T-shirt can get a second life and continue to be useful for a long time. Many people know that T-shirts can be turned into good-quality knit yarn. It’s easy to make. The fabric is cut into long strips and slightly stretched. This creates soft and sturdy cords. You can knit bath mats, small baskets for odds and ends, hot pads, or even pet beds from this yarn. At the cottage, these cords are handy for tying up cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, and other plants. But that’s far from the only way to use old clothes. For example, T-shirts can be turned into convenient cleaning rags. The soft knit fabric absorbs water well and picks up dust perfectly. These rags are great for washing windows, dusting furniture, and cleaning your car. Another interesting idea is to make small bags for storing various items. You can use them to hold socks, children’s toys, balls of yarn, plastic bags, or other small things. These bags help keep your home organized. I sewed a large bag from an old T-shirt to store seasonal clothes. Because the fabric stretches well, the bag’s volume increases. Now winter sweaters, hats, and warm clothes are stored neatly without gathering dust. Making a bag like this is quite simple. First, I spread the T-shirt flat on the table. Then, where the sleeves were, I cut the fabric to create the shape of a bag. At the same time, I cut small corners at the bottom. After that, I stitched the bottom and the corners. This gave the bag volume and made it more spacious. At the top, I made a closure. To do this, I cut small holes inside the hem on both sides near the seams. Then I threaded cords through for tightening. Now the bag can be quickly opened and just as quickly closed. This kind of storage turned out to be very practical. The items inside are well protected from light and dust. Plus, there’s no need to buy special boxes or containers anymore. Everything was made by hand from a piece of clothing that might have otherwise been thrown away.
