Canoe trip with dogs in Sweden Lapland This is a short video from a canoe trip with dogs in Sweden Lapland west of Jokkmokk. You will follow me (Matti) and our three border collies during an overnight tour with canoe to an island in the lake Purkijaure 20 km west of Jokkmokk. Cooking over the campfire, camping in a Hilleberg Allak tent, paddling a Mad River Explore 16ft open canoe and just enjoying the outdoors. A part of our life with dogs out there. / Matti in Jokkmokk Jokkmokkguiderna is a small guide company who offer guided tours in Swedish Lapland all around the year. During the winter it’s mostly dog sled tours and summertime it’s canoe, hiking tours and wildlife safaris. We, Matti Holmgren and Stina Svensson own and run Jokkmokkguiderna.
