The history of a neighborhood told by its residents. Piazza Vittorio, the old Magazzini Mas (Magazzini Mas), now closed since 2017 but always a symbol of the neighborhood, the porticoes under which a large open-air market once stood, selling food and more, the historic Gelateria Fassi (at the center of national media in recent months after receiving two bills for €20,000). This is the Esquilino neighborhood, with a square 10,000 square meters larger than St. Peter's Square. Residents (and others) told us how the neighborhood has changed over the years, how the square has transformed, and what life is like in one of the most multiethnic neighborhoods in the capital.
