Instead, she sought refuge in the familiar sanctuary of her home Dojo, accompanied by Lily. “The thought of staying with Lorenzo made my whole body recoil,” she said, pointing to repeated boundary violations in their relationship. Throughout the interview, Daisy spoke openly about inviting Lorenzo to move in during their engagement, only to find her house rules repeatedly disrespected. She cited cigarette smoking indoors and behaviors she described as disruptive to her housing stability. Despite her affection for Lorenzo and her hope to support him artistically and logistically, she emphasized that her own growth and mental health had to come first. With group therapy, EMDR sessions, and the guidance of her longtime psychologist, she said she is committed to sustaining the progress she’s made. “I may still want to help him,” Daisy stated, referencing Lorenzo, “but he can’t be in my house.” Daisy also clarified the legal status of the wedding. While Daisy affirmed her commitment to the symbolic title of being "married to the world," she made clear that no formal paperwork will be submitted unless respectful communication with Lorenzo resumes.
