This same calculation applies to decreases. If you want to make it shorter, you can decrease 10 rounds. These increases and decreases will always be made on the rounds that are worked with the 10 Double Crochets at the beginning, the 14 groups of 2 Double Crochets separated by 1 chain, and another 10 Double Crochets at the end. The 5 closed rounds of Double Stitches at the beginning and end of the body of the rug always remain the same.
