Pregnant at 14 and Facing Relationship Doubts

In episode two of Underage and Pregnant, we meet two teenagers coming to terms with the emotional realities of young motherhood. Jasmine, from Kent, became pregnant at 15 and initially felt happy and confident about her new life. But following a difficult birth and weeks of sleepless nights, the pressures begin to take their toll. As Jasmine struggles to adjust, she is diagnosed with borderline postnatal depression, forcing her to confront the challenges beneath the surface of early motherhood. Meanwhile in Stoke, 16-year-old Kim is also battling the baby blues. Once known as a party-loving teenager, Kim fell pregnant at just 14 and is now mum to seven-month-old Heidi. Having had to grow up quickly, Kim faces important decisions about her future — but like many teenagers, she is also distracted by more familiar worries, including doubts about her relationship with her boyfriend. An honest and compassionate look at the emotional impact of teenage pregnancy, mental health and growing up faster than expected.
