Karolek discovers the mystery of Jesus' names, learns the meaning of "Christ," "he will set us free," and why Christmas carols are sung about prophets, angels, shepherds, and kings at the manger. Epiphany for children is presented here as a real event with a magical atmosphere: wise men from the East studied ancient books that foretold the birth of a unique King. When they saw a new, bright star in the sky, they set off on a long journey – the Star of Bethlehem led them to the Nativity scene in Bethlehem. In the carol "Wise Men of the World, Monarchs," we sing about this very thing: "Announced by the Prophets, Desired by the Nations." Everyone gathers in the stable: kings bow to Jesus, shepherds sing, animals stand by the manger, angels play. Finally, Karolek learns the role of Saint Joseph – a quiet, caring guardian who didn't say much but did everything to keep Mary and Jesus safe.
