One Pot Oneder: Apple & Rhubarb Crumble
Last one pot for now... This one is a dessert! Apple and Rhubarb Crumble 2 bramley apples 2 sticks rhubarb 100g sugar 1 vanilla pod 50g salted butter - 100g caster sugar 100g soft butter 100g ground almonds 100g soft flour 100g rolled oats Combine sugar, flour, oats and almonds, add the soft butter and work through to breadcrumb texture. Reserve until the fruit part of the crumble is made. - Peel, core and dice the apples. Mix with diced rhubarb, add 10% sugar to weight of fruit. Melt the butter, add the fruit and begin to soften. Cover with a lid and turn off and allow the residual heat to cook the fruit. Top with crumble mix and bake at 180c for 12/15 minutes. Serve with ice cream or custard, or both!
