There are many myths circulating online about it: Some blame the buttocks, others blame the doctors. Many try to solve the problem purely with muscles – without much success. The true cause lies not in the muscles, but in the position of the bones. We explain the difference between dynamic and static knock-knees, why women are more frequently affected, the associated risks, such as a cruciate ligament tear, and how we can really make a difference through targeted strategies – with less effort than many people think. Important: We don't roll the fascia, but actively influence the bone position with the roller. In the video, we take a structured approach: First, we examine the cause, then we show the solution, and finally, we dispel the biggest myths. We learn that bones are elastic and malleable – comparable to a fresh branch. In knock-knees, the thigh and tibia are twisted: The thigh rotates inward, the tibia outward – this leads to the typical misalignment. Our solution: We work directly on these bone rotations with the fascia roller or, alternatively, a PVC pipe. We demonstrate two effective exercises. In the first, we press the edge of the shin into the roller to rotate the tibia inward. In the second exercise, we slowly roll out the outer side of the calf muscles, also to support internal rotation. We notice: It's about specifically influencing the compensation patterns of our bones – not just the muscles or fascia.
