How I Live Rent Free: Farm-Sitting Alone

Kevin and Amy left for a couple of days, so I am farm-sitting Far Out Farm on my own through an extreme heat warning. I live in my travel trailer here and trade about 20 hours a week of farm work for my spot, so this is what that deal actually looks like when the owners are gone and the whole place is mine to keep alive. Collect the eggs before the chickens roost. Feed the cats, then pull the food up so nothing wild comes in overnight. Get the young chicks up to roost when they have not learned how to do it themselves. Then the morning: water the whole property section by section off a pond pump before the heat index climbs back over 115.
