Example of Myoclonic seizure activity
Approximately 30% of people with autism have epilepsy. This is an example of myoclonus, a type of seizure that involves brief body jolts. Myoclonus often occurs upon awakening in people with myoclonic seizures. It can also happen throughout day. Keppra is most often used by doctors for myoclonus, but can cause headaches. Research shows Vitamin B supplementation is helpful in ameliorating Keppra's side effects.
