Hiking the central Fannich Munros, Wester Ross, Scotland
This walk takes in two munros from the Dundonnell Road. The plan had been to climb three munros, however winter conditions prevented safe passage off the north ridge of Sgurr nan Clach Geala. Sgurr nan Each (923m), Sgurr nan Clach Geala (1093m) and Meall a' Chrasgaidh (934m) form a high ridge walk around a deep corrie, lined with very tall steep cliffs. This combined, with the views westward of the Fisherfield munros makes for a very special walk in the northwest highlands of Scotland.
