New Public Market | City Hall | Carcar City, Cebu | Heritage City | Old & New

Hi Everyone, We are going to explore the Heritage City of the South - Carcar City, Cebu. Carcar City is famous for it's lechon, ampao, shoes, chicharon and the scenic road hovered by century old acasia trees in Brgy. Perrelos. Carcar City is rich in history and it's heritage were preserved as it dates back during the Spanish and American Colonization. The city's name even came from a town in Spain and some barangays are named after the cities/towns in Spain. There are a lot of heritage sites to visit in Carcar City, Cebu and it is good that despite the recent developments the old structures were still preserved up to this day. The city has strategized to cluster all important institutions like the City Hall, The Public Market, The Police Station, The Bus Terminal (under construction) and The Stadium (under construction) in one area for easier access to it's constituents. The old public market in Carcar City, Cebu has been a cause of traffic build up in the national hiway so it is just timely that they have move it's location to decongest traffic along the area around the Rotunda. Also in Carcar City, Cebu are century old houses that dates back the colonial era of the Philippines. They are similar to those we see in Vigan, Silay and Intramuros in Manila.
