Українські та латвійські поліцейські викрили шахраїв, які оформлювали на іноземців кредити

The perpetrators from Ukraine called Latvian citizens, presented themselves as employees of a law firm, and assured them that they would help them recover the lost funds. In reality, they gained access to the victims' online banking, applied for loans on their behalf, and in some cases persuaded people to sell their property or take out loans on collateral. The stolen funds were withdrawn via cryptocurrency. In this way, the criminals defrauded citizens of at least 4 million hryvnias.
