Нацполіція та ОГП викрили масштабний нелегальний видобуток бурштину на Рівненщині

Illegal amber mining took place under the guise of geological exploration of the subsoil in the Rivne region. For this, the perpetrators used special permits for the use of subsoil, and the actual extraction was carried out using motor pumps and soil hydro-erosion technologies, which cause significant damage to the environment. During the special operation, law enforcement officers conducted 47 authorized and urgent searches, where they seized dozens of artisanal motor pumps, equipment for stone processing, over 52 kilograms of amber, funds, documentation and other physical evidence.
