UTA100 2025 // 14th - too little too late
I went into this race with sky high dreams tempered with a healthy serve of reality. After a shorter and lower volume block than usual I was motivated to race hard and chase a 10:30 finish time. Despite falling short of this goal (by 52 minutes no less!) I'm content with racing well and managing my effort all day. Starting conservatively did indeed leave me with legs in the back end, but by that stage the race had run away from me and it was too little too late. I've since spend hours labouring over my splits and lamenting what could have been, but the motivation to be better is what keeps me going. That's about all I had to give this year...
