This week at Sleepy Letterpress, we hosted a graduation party — and as part of the celebration, Andy opened the doors and welcomed guests into the print shop. Three presses were inked up and ready to go, and guests got to make their own letterpress prints to take home, including a Father’s Day card, a Dr. Seuss poster, and a thank you card. There were so many people in the shop, the whole thing started to feel less like a party and more like a full-blown print shop invasion. In fact, things got so lively that the battery in Andy’s camera gave out before the night was over. And just to make the takeover complete… Midlife Stockman even stopped by. It was a good kind of chaos: ink, presses, people, and plenty of prints heading home in the hands of first-time visitors to Sleepy Letterpress.
