"Between Us", choreographed by Sarah Tan, was performed during Evocation 2023: Obvious Oblivion? at University Cultural Centre Theatre, NUS, on 5th April 2023. Item synopsis: "Vulnerability is the core, the heart, the center, of meaningful human experiences." – Brené Brown The desire to connect with others is innate, yet we sometimes struggle to let people into our lives. Why are we so afraid to be vulnerable and open ourselves up to those around us? If we are constantly guarding ourselves, then we can never have an authentic connection with anyone. Perhaps, all we need is a little time and courage to let down our barriers and let others in.
