Nice, France is quaint, sophisticated and lively. There is plenty to see in Nice. The city's lovely old-fashioned architecture and delicate blend of modernity is a beauty. There is something about Nice that leaves you with a sentimental feeling, perhaps its location in the French Riviera, coupled with its coastal and Mediterranean ambience have something to do with it. Driving through the streets of Nice is quite enjoyable. Its narrow streets provide a warm and cozy feeling. Locals and tourists are all about on the streets, enjoying themselves in parks, cafes, etc. Usually, during this time of year, Nice has heavy traffic because of the influx of tourists. On this occasion, the traffic was not too bad. Some streets were eerily quiet with few pedestrians and motorists.
