Activist Omoyele Sowore led a massive protest through the streets of Abuja demanding the immediate rescue of abducted students and teachers from Oyo State. Aisha Yesufu, a prominent activist and recent NDC member who expressed interest in the FCT senatorial seat, publicly accused party leaders of awarding the ticket to another aspirant through a non-transparent process that she described as a predetermined outcome disguised as a formal primary. Kenneth Okonkwo, an ADC chieftain and former Labour Party campaign spokesman, argued that a vote for Peter Obi would effectively benefit Bola Ahmed Tinubu, urging the opposition to unite behind a single candidate to defeat the incumbent. The G-60 Minority Caucus fired back, issuing a press statement categorically denying any forgery while releasing CCTV footage that they say shows Agbese personally signing the nomination document.
