Today I found my old phone from 10 years ago and decided to look through the photos. What I saw reminded me of how much Allah ﷻ has changed my life and how far He has brought me. Looking back at who I was before Islam, I remember constantly seeking validation, approval, attention, and acceptance from people. At the time, I thought that lifestyle was normal. I thought happiness came from pleasing the creation. But deep inside, I was lost. As a revert Muslim, reflecting on those old memories made me realize how much Allah saved me from. He guided my heart away from chasing temporary pleasures and towards a life centered around faith, purpose, and submission to Him. This video is a reminder that guidance is one of the greatest blessings a person can receive. No matter how far you feel from Allah, His mercy is greater than your past. He is the Turner of Hearts, the Best of Planners, and the One who guides whom He wills. May Allah keep our hearts firm upon Islam, forgive our past mistakes, and guide those who are searching for the truth. Alhamdulillah for Islam. Alhamdulillah for guidance.
