I Secretly Learned my Grandma's Language

There's something painful about loving someone you can't fully talk to. My grandma came to America from Greece in 1968 with nothing. She helped raised me. And somewhere along the way I let her language slip, until conversations with her all started to feel the same. She's 89 now. We live across the country. I see her once a year if I'm lucky. So when I found out she was coming to visit, I gave myself 14 days to do something about it. Not to become fluent. Just to be able to say the things I'd never been able to say.
