The Mira bus, traveling at high speed, suddenly swerved to the left lane to avoid the vehicle in front of it. At the same time, the Sugeng Rahayu bus veered into its lane, causing the two to collide. "About 100 meters ahead, the Mira bus, traveling against the traffic, encountered a car in front of it. To avoid the car, the Mira bus swerved to the left and collided with the SR (Sugeng Rahayu) bus," said First Inspector Wahby Irfan Izzudin. Monday (June 29, 2026). After the collision, each driver checked to ensure there were no injuries. The Mira and Sugeng Rahayu bus drivers did not report the incident to the police and resolved the matter amicably. However, the Nganjuk Police Traffic Unit summoned the parties involved in the incident at around 9:00 a.m. WIB that same day to serve as a deterrent to reckless drivers who endanger other drivers. For this incident, the Mira bus driver was given firm administrative sanctions by the Nganjuk Police Traffic Unit.
