I wrote this song "Mill on the Braid" Years ago after I watched the demolition of the old Braidwater mill in Ballymena Northern Ireland. I felt rather sad to see them tear it down without leaving a trace only to erect yet another shopping center. That mill gave work to many folk in the town and 3 generations of my family made a slim living working there.Still, it left me full of nostalgia for my people and my growing days in Ballymena- Most of these pix are in my collection. This video is for those who remember
