My Island P E I

Once I lived on an Island- Prince Island Island in Canada's Maritimes. In my life as an Irish Rover I wrote a series of poems about living on this Island. The place became dear to my heart. It was there I started my life with Catherine and our first son was born on that red clay shore. There was a touch of Ireland in the music and the Moonshine. The people became a big part of my life and I tried to express my love for the place in this C.B.C show "My Island" Sadly a lot of the kind souls who populate this show have gone now. I am so happy that they still live on in this little production.
